Please take a moment to review the New Jersey Department of Education School Self-Assessment for Determining Grades under the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act. Thank you for taking the time to examine this very important information as the Union City School District continues to prioritize the importance of the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Act.

In honor of Earth Day, the Hudson School was proud to present Mrs. Russo’s Plastic Possibilities STEM project. These second graders created new items out of used plastic bags. They also explained how they made their item, why they picked that item and how reusing plastic helps the environment.

It certainly takes a village and the Hudson STEM School is saying to our students, we are PROUD and we see your creative thinking skills. Recently, on Friday, March 24, 2023, our team of seven ENGINEERS competed at the Third Annual eSTEM Competition at the New Jersey Institute of Technology.

During this workshop, the impact of absenteeism to the Hudson School as it pertains to the learning process of a child was discussed. It was a very insightful and informative for all of the parents in attendance.

There are very important highlights concerning the focus of raising student interest in fruit as well as vegetable consumption by increasing the usage of locally grown food and much more. The staff and students at the Hudson School celebrated SEL Week. It was a truly enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Students at the Hudson School enjoyed Read Across America. It was certainly educational and enjoyable for them.

Starting April 17th, Chartwells will be starting their Mood Boost Food program. For nearly 1 year, Chartwells chefs and dietitians have been working together to create Mood Boost specifically for elementary and middle school students. They are quite excited to launch this program at the Henry Hudson School.
