We are thrilled to announce that, once again, our district's dedicated team efforts have resulted in success! According to the Education Recovery Scorecard, a collaboration between Harvard and Stanford Universities examining post-pandemic academic recovery, the Union City School District had the least learning loss in the entire state of New Jersey during the COVID-19 pandemic and, while most districts struggled with reading between 2019 and 2022, our students’ reading performance improved!

On April 11, 2024, the Hudson School held their annual K-1 Literacy Night. Family Literacy Night provided parents and families with information and resources on ways to provide effective literacy support at home. Families collaborated directly with teachers and students.

On April 25, 2024, the Hudson School participated in "Bring you Child to Work Day." The day was filled with school based activities and treats! It was a truly enjoyable experience for everyone.

During the Hudson School #SELDay we shared our visions for our futures by creating travel dioramas, vision boards, and dreamcatchers. Students dressed up in outfits and uniforms representing their future dream professions! It was a truly amazing day.
