Mrs. Renck's first grade class conducted a STEM activity for our "One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish" Dr. Seuss science experiment. Students predicted what liquid would dissolve the candy. The students observed that the candy in the water dissolved the fasted. The students learned that sugar based candy is soluble in water.
