Mrs. Renck's 1st grade class learned about the chemistry of making butter. The students poured heavy cream into a glass jar. Next, it was time to shake! The students observed how the fat molecules separated from the liquid and clung together to form butter. The students enjoyed eating the butter with some bread. It was a fun and tasty STEM challenge.
