Room 309 virtually traveled to Beijing, China. They learned about the Chinese New Year, the Chinese Zodiac Symbols, and their lunar calendar. The students then explored the Chinese Horoscopes. They learned about 2021 being the Year of the Ox. In addition, the students explored the Chinese Horoscopes of the years they were born. As an activity the students did a directed drawing of the Ox and wrote good luck in Chinese.
