After reading a powerful and beautifully illustrated book on Martin Luther King Jr. Mrs. Johmann's First Graders talked about what life was like in the past and how much things have changed since then. They also discussed the importance of treating people the way you want to be treated and how unfair it is to treat people poorly just because they look different. These first graders used a google document to write about a dream they have not just for themselves, but for our world.
