Welcome all to the Hudson STEM School's Thanksgiving Day Parade!
Mrs. Menjivar's Science/Stem Lab had 1st and 2nd graders emulate a virtual parade. Children designed and engineered their balloons from recyclable materials and learned the history of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. While STEM literacy was integrated when reading aloud, "Balloons Over Broadway," by Melissa Sweet.
