Pre-School Teacher, Mr. Bula read the book "The Color of Us" and created an activity for the WEEK OF RESPECT. The students traced, then colored their hands, and answered numerous questions about the story.
Example of some questions: What color is your hand? What color does your hand/ skin remind you of? Can you think of a thing, object, food, toy, animal, or anything at all that reminds you of the color of your hand? The students then discussed their responses. Discussion Included: We all have different color skin, hair, eyes, and more! We need to show respect for everyone.
